Starting Out

Success in this class starts with taking in consideration if your character is right for the job. Take look at your own personal strengths and make sure that they fit the abilities of a hunter. Remember that the hunter class is more than tracking down and shooting animals. Playing this class can be a little tricky if you don’t pay attention to its strengths and weaknesses.

A hunter can be very effective when it comes to ranged warfare, including the use of bows, guns, or crossbows. They have very strong tracking capabilities, and they know how to fight in order to survive. Pets are used by this class in order to absorb any damage received from attacks. Don’t go with alchemy, tailoring or enchanting. They are incredibly useful for other classes, there’s not enough benfits for a hunter. Another good choice for a profession is herbalism, which will allow you to make your own healing potions. This is very useful in melee fighting when you’re still without a pet.

The Artillery

As previously stated, the hunter excels at ranged warfare. Concentrate on bows and crossbows, and guns if you have the skill. Initially, you’ll get a pretty basic bow, but as you progress through the levels, you can purchase a better one that will let you earn you more skill and increase your accuracy help. You can also get several other ranged weapons as you complete quests.
