At one point almost all of us stop and think how to help someone quit smoking. The malign addiction is so widespread that it is hard to meet a person who has no smokers in his or her surrounding. You too are probably concerned with the same problem.

1. Quitting at once has proven to be ineffective, but gradual cutting on the number of cigarettes is a good way to go. However, do not presume that it is easy for a quitter. The most essential thing to remember is - ultimately, you cannot make a decision on anybody’s behalf. It is the quitter’s choice and determination that will work in the long run. You may have an entire plan on how to help someone quit smoking, but it will be useless, unless the person firmly makes up his/her mind about it.
