While reading a story in the Old Testament regarding the wipeout of people where fire rains down from up above and devastates the sinful cities in a monumental conflagration of fire damage. The circumstance, which is an anecdote regarding the anger of God, is similar to added stories that have been sent on from diverse societies throughout history. Fire engulfed horse driven carriages and Grecian deities with lightning bolts have obliterated the towns and nations of bad human beings since the origin of time.

Most legends and fables are mythological happenings that are rooted in an actual event that took place at some time period and was exaggerated as time went on. Fire damage out of the sky is one of the earliest stories in sect literature and the events represented could usually be defended by the laws of science and nature. What makes them supernatural is the likelihood of these events occurring. The fire damage originally discussed might have been the result of a meteor cascade that scientists know occurred about the time when it should have occurred.

Of course, most religions think that earthly events are really the creation of the god they have faith in so trying to prove that the fire damage in the Bible was from a meteorcascade does not refute the existence of God. It just explains what procedure was utilized to ruin the sinful towns. The point is that the primitive story was told from an eyewitness point of view from someone who saw fire plummeting downward from the heavens. Even the story of a wife becoming a post of salt could be rationalized in scientific language. Intense temperatures can create that kind of fire damage even to a person.

You can believe that it was the operation of a heavenly force or you can feel it was merely a freak occurrence of nature. All people has a right to their beliefs and none of us could genuinely say what is appropriate and what is false. Fire damage from above is extraordinary and would foster questions even today if it demolished an entire municipality in this current age. The steel and glasswork of edifices now might pose much more of a problem than the stones and thatched roofs of that time, but it is yet feasible with sufficient strength coming down.

Lightning, meteor showers, and volcanoes, are all ravagingforces that could cause fire damage from above. Every one of them has fables related to it that have been sent down. Towns have been exterminated and renowned societies have disappeared completely from the earth. Were the events the acts of an unforgiving deity, or were they really spontaneous occurrences? For numerous people the response is a question of belief.
