You do not always have to buy a commercially made product to get rid of head lice, a natural head lice treatment also responds well in the removal of head lice. Repeat the process a few times until there are no head lice or eggs evident. Repeat this treatment in three or four days to kill any head lice that may have hatched since the last treatment

The use of food products in the removal of head lice is a favorite method. The first food product is thick mayonnaise. Lather it into the hair and wait for fifteen minutes then use a nit comb to comb out the hair. The other method is the use of olive oil. Slather your hair with food grade oil like vegetable or olive oil and leave it on for fifteen minutes, then comb out your hair carefully with a flea or nit comb, wiping the comb on a paper towel after each swipe through your hair. However, most people cannot afford this natural head lice treatment.

So there you go a few natural head lice treatment that are safe to use and can be found in your kitchen cupboard. But remember that they need to be done repeatedly to ensure that you do get rid of those head lice.
