All celebrities diet. You know it, I know it, they know it. They need to diet to look hot and get paid! You’re pretty much not considered to be a true celebrity if you do not have your own diet and fitness regime. And every celebrity swears by their own diet and exercise regime as being the one that truly works.
There are as many celebrity diets and fitness regimes as there are celebrities. So many that it makes your head whirl trying to decipher who does what and how. Some follow the South beach diet and some follow the Atkins diet. Some celebrity diets are freaky! We’re talking about algae, seaweed, crickets, cockroaches, bee larvae and other messed up things.
No wonder we think that celebrities are eccentric diet fiends. But they are normal human beings and are different physically, mentally and metabolically, just like us. Their diets are different and like us they do have to struggle to stick to it.
Here are some of the celebrity diets followed and endorsed by some of the celebrities.
Angelina Jolie followed a diet of steamed meat, steamed fish, soya milk and vegetables to shed weight for her latest movie Tomb Raider.
Madonna eats only organic food and follows a strict yoga routine. Janet Jackson follows an intense workout regimen to stay in shape. Brad Pitt followed a high protein, low carbohydrate diet along with a year of intense physical training in order to get a muscular look for the movie Fight Club.
Sarah Ferguson follows the Weight watchers diet where as Bill and Hillary Clinton have made the South Beach diet famous. And the list goes on and on. The lengths to which they go in their effort to be slim can be seen in the weird diets some of them follow. Try eating crickets, cockroaches and drinking vinegar to stay stick thin.
But they do need these diets and have the willpower to stick to their diet because they often have to shed weight at the drop of a hat. Needless to say they have the incentive of big money coming in and the resources for it. They usually have an entourage of helpers which includes a personal trainer, cooks, nannies, etc so that they don’t have to lift a finger for mundane matters.
The problem with celebrity diets is that they are too hard to follow and may not be necessarily healthy for them or for you.
