Almost everyone enjoys the beauty and fragrance of one of our favorites flowers, the rose. Many flowers have a great background and story to them, but the rose is the standout with so many people given their colorful history and meaning (literally). Red may be the rose we first think of, but are worth discovering if you’ve not yet done so.

Every color of rose carries its subtle fragrance and unmatched beauty. They convey a message that almost guarantees the excitement and appreciation from the person receiving them and the color of the different roses, such as add an extra depth of feeling to your message.

The rose is a very romantic flower with special meanings. It can mean you have fallen in love with the person receiving it. You could portray you fell in love with the receiving person at first site. The one color rose that many consider mystical in nature is the purple color. Purple symbolizes desire, fascination, attractiveness and even proceeding with caution.

The similar colors of the lilac, plum shades, and symbolize style. They also indicate elegance and finesse, and everlasting love; with the lighter shades signifying the love at first sight (or beginning of true feelings); and the darker shades being symbolic for the more-intimate side of love.

As soon as arrive, especially if they arrive in a location such as an office, everyone immediately knows. People start whispering to each other, and each one wonders if the flowers could be for them. Even if they know it is not for them everyone watches eagerly to see who they are for. In fact, since the 24th anniversary is lavender, the purple rose makes a particularly apt gift for that occasion as well as being ideal for the wedding itself.

Roses have been used for a great many years to convey particular feelings. Each color communicates a different emotion or message. Your guests will delight in discovering the significance behind each color rose you have chosen to display.
